Monday Made It #4

I'm so behind this week and need to get caught up today!! We had our county fair this past week and it was great! Justin Moore and Thompson Square performed this year and they sounded incredible!
Now onto my projects that I have made this week. I'm linking up again with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics.

Project #1...
My inspiration came from this post she made a book that told about herself for the first day of school. Click on the picture and it will take you to her blog.

So I decided to do the same thing.

The pages I used are:
Mrs. Miller
Family
Pets
Favorite Books
My Favorite Things
Here is my version.
Project #2...
I found this idea through Tara from her last Monday Made It. She used the Beach Ball poke game with multiplication. I went to the website of FlapJack Educational Resources and found the game Factor Pair Flip Flops. This game is similar but you have think of the factors that equal the number they give you. I made two games for my students to play whenever we have time or before we do our lesson.

Project #3...
I was looking on Pinterest a while back and found this post from Adventures of Teaching. I knew I had to do this to keep me organized. I cut the scrapbook paper to size and then used my Cricut to cut out the vinyl letters. I decided to tape in the pieces of scrapbook paper since I'm not a master at using Mod Podge.
Project #4...
I have been seeing the box top containers floating around the blogs and I had to have one. I bought the container at Dollar Tree and mod podged scrapbook paper around it. Then I mod podged the label.

Well that is all for now! I have to go pack and get ready for a Literacy Conference and play with this little boy. Hop on over and check out everyone's projects.

  3. Hi, I just found your blog and I love all of your Monday Made It's. I'm pinning your box tops and scrapbook box right now. I was wondering where did you get your toolbox from. Is it really big enough to hold index cards? If you could let me know I would appreciate it. You can reach me below:

  4. Stumbled upon your blog through the Fabulous Find Friday link up and I am now your newest follower! Super cute little baskets that you found in the same colors I'm using this year. Thanks for sharing your idea to make those plastic drawers look matchy-matchy with the rest of the room, will definitely be doing that with mine :). Hop on over to my blog and check it out if you get the chance!

  6. Darling blog...
My daughter and I are both teachers... she is way cooler than me, as you can imagaine. During her wedding she pointed out to me that it isn't "modge" podge... it is "mod" podge. I love that so many of these things on Pinterest my generation already did, but I never noticed the actual name of it. Anyway, I thought I'd let you know in case you don't have an adult, cool daughter who helps you save face :).
Again, great blog!! I am repinning!

  7. I just found this on Pinterest, where did you get the Grade/Copy/File organizational bin? I'm drawing a blank on the name of it and I'm not sure where to look! I am a junior education major but work for Res Life on my campus and need to stay better organized with all of my papers for my residents next semester!!
